About the event
Join other like-minded people around a campfire with great conversation and delicious campfire cooked food as we learn the art of spoon carving.
During the day you'll learn about wood types and their suitability for spoon carving. We'll introduce a range of tools including the axe, crook knife and fixed blade knife. Each of us will take a solid block of wood and transform it into a treasure that you will cherish forever.
This training is for people with an interest in tool work and working with wood, complete beginners can attend but some knoweldge of basic tools is recommended.
